Serpent In The News

> Trion Intellect VR-1 packs

I like new developments in battery technology, just because when I first started having an electric RC was not very much fun. Team Trion have released two versions of pre assembled 6-cell battery packs. You can get them in 3800MAh or 4200... And if you do get any, go with the higher MAh.

Fastest RC Car Challenge + New 4WD B44 from Team Associated

> World's Fastest RC Car Challenge

RC Car Action is getting ready to have their fastest rc car challenge coming up here on the 28th of July. The event will be held at the California Speedway in Fontana, CA. I think the current speed record is 169MPH, but I'm sure this year there will definitely be a 200MPH mark hit. That's just my guess anyway. If you live in Cali, this would be a fun event to go see for sure. RC Car Action has a forum set up already for this event, and you can check out other people's prototypes and designs for what they're going to bring. You can also take a look at the rules/regulations, and other info.

2008 1/8 Buggy World Championships

> 2008 1/8th Scale Buggy World Championships

One of my most favorite events of the year is the Buggy worlds. As much as I love on-road racing, there's something about the dirt and the jumps that get me with off-road racing. This year's IFMAR Buggy world's will be from Sept 15-21st, and will be hed at the Farm 2 Raceway in Charlotte, North Carolina. If you're a big RC fan, then this is a must attend event! You'll see all the major movers and shakers in the RC industry there, and I was suprised to see that OFNA got the sponsorship for the 2008 Buggy worlds. This will most likely boost their competition against other major brands, as well as showcase their products to the world.
